Importance Of Knowing God Always

By Rebecca Patterson

The teachings of Jesus Christ on earth made His disciples become aware of the instructions that have been given to them since the creation. According to Him, people who serve God in spirit and in truth would be rewarded accordingly. He also outlined many advantages of knowing God as recorded in the scriptures.

Difficult tasks that must be accomplished at home or office can induce psychological issues such as stress, depression, and anxiety. These issues are likely to make a person lose focus. But Christians who practice godly lifestyles at home and attend church programs regularly would derive joy and a sound mind. These fruits can help relieve stress, anxiety, and depression and make them carry out their daily activities with ease.

People who die without salvation would become condemned on the Last Day. This is why it is necessary to lead lives that are worthy and acceptable before the creator. There are many ways to live upright. Constant prayers and study of the word are sure ways and would help build one's faith and make the person partake in activities that are pleasing to the creator.

One tends to appreciate the nature and meaning of life better when the person is exposed to the teachings of the Bible. It would also create a consciousness on the side of the believer to value God's creatures and make the person aware of the commandments that have been laid down from the beginning. Also, the knowledge one has about Him would a go a long way in preventing the person from destroying humanity but rather strive to protect it.

One sure benefit you can derive from an active service to God is the quick answers to prayers. Disobedience to Him on this issue is likely to bring unhappiness to the person especially when the petitions that have been made are not fully granted. Establishing good rapport and effective communication with people, rather than causing conflicts are also sure ways to draw His attention to you.

Unbelievers are more likely to carry out different sinful acts that they would regret in the long run. Having the fear of God would help reduce the tendencies to act wrongly and make a person grow spiritually. The gifts that God gives to the person who has surrendered his life to Christ are necessary to guide the person from following the wrong path.

You can serve as role models to your friends and family members if you lead good lives. Students can also perform better in their academics if they are well disciplined. More favor, reward, and promotions in offices can be granted following appropriate behaviors from Christians.

Believers who are close to God tend to understand and teach the scriptures better than others who only spend time occasionally on the scriptures. This is because the Bible made it clear that knowing the Lord and His ways is the beginning of wisdom. The wisdom derived in the process is also essential if one must gather insight on how to handle difficult issues in life.
