Why Do Many Religions Have Churches That Observe The Sabbath

By Martha King

The environment has always been a point of fascination of human beings. Since the time that first started to come out of those vast jungles where they lived, nature was one of the things that has captivated them and made the entire race think. During the stone ages, lots of natural and unexplained that can be explained today, confused those that lived in the past.

Due to the creative and imaginative mind of humans, they were able to see things that other animals could not. The idea of scientific explanation had not yet been created at this time, so humans need to create the explanation that they saw happen in nature. This sort of practice eventually grew into something that is very big that it led to Churches that observe the sabbath Winnipeg.

The environment that surrounded humanity had fascinated and enthralled them so much that the early man sought an explanation for the things that happen around them. Due to the nature of the time, man had thought that the power of nature was supernatural. The tribes that formed during this time believed in sprites.

As humanity grew, so did this system. Instead of having elements that have no corporeal form, the intelligence and imagination of humanity allowed for a more sophisticated belief system. The things that were now worshiped were deities and beings that are mystical and divine to the eyes of a mortal man.

Depending on the culture, the religion would change. Religion is an organized set of beliefs that a society or community tends to have. During the time of the ancient Egyptians, it was often believed to be that the Pharaoh was a god. The Pharaoh was a right that was passed down from one Pharaoh to an heir.

The Greeks were also an ancient civilization that had unique beliefs of their own. It is notable to mention that these Greeks had one of the first gods and goddess that looked and resembled man completely. The Greek pantheon were made up of human like deities that acted quite human as well.

But before that, a brand-new religion had come from ancient Egypt during the Ancient times. This was the Abrahamic religion. Though it was new at the time, it could eventually create the most popular and influential religions that the world has ever seen. The roots of Abrahamic belief are what is become Judaism today.

Israel is the home of Judaism, the oldest branch of Abrahamic religions. Abraham is the main founder of this religious practice and the words that is spoken by Abraham is taken seriously. The Jewish community are the main ones that often practice the day of sabbath. This day is the day that god had rested when it had created the world in six days, making it the seventh.

Since then, there have been many branches to the Abrahamic faith. The most famous of course being Roman Catholicism, Christianity, Protestantism, and Islam. Today, many different countries are dedicated to practicing these forms of religious faith, to the point of extremism.
