Must Have Designer Jewelry Trends

By Paul Adams

Our gay apparel is not complete if we do not accessorize it. We can either spend too much or too little. Either way, what is important, is that we make it a point to make it last enough from one season to the next. All the best outfits are not complete without accessory, without jewelry.

This is what trend demands. An all time answer to an otherwise ordinary and bland getup. This is why designer jewelry trends evolve every season. For designers always find a way to turn their designs, one notch higher, by developing what ideas would go best for the season and the runways. And the people from Hollywood in the front row makes it even more popular.

Hollywood had the best of them laid out, as the crowd of tinseltown sat in the front row. Nary a piece was missing on hands, necks, heads and ears. No, they would not take that chance. And designers had them showcased on the runways. There are few that must, by all means, be named.

Garden Flowers. The Ladies suddenly loved floral themes on their heads and necks. Bracelets and necklaces now come as floral pieces. These are worn even when you do not attend a summer party. It just really adds a romantic touch for a rather casual look.

The Fringe. Oh the fringe benefits. Even before, they were already popular. Especially for those who wants to rock their inner bohemian chick. These days, they come in classic trend designs, and the runway did not fail to showcase it during fashion week.

Going Retro. The world needs drama. Or so the inner Debbie Gibson or pretty woman in you thought. Yes, jewelry a decade or two ago are known to be oversized and over the top. Earrings that dangle are irresistible. Rings that have oversized stones and loud colors add sass. Bracelets and bangles in gold suddenly find its way to your arms and wrists. Like an old friend, you can retro pieces are something you cannot easily run away from and you find yourself loving the even more.

Crosses. The time has finally come when people do not need to get symbols connected to religion. The cross design graced headpieces, bracelets and necklaces, mostly in gold. It is simple, yet feminine and stylish. Wear it layered on your neck or wrists, and your look is complete and effortless.

Ear cuffs. Another statement maker. Young A listers are often seen donning them. They also come very edgy, with various designs that the feminine rebel in you can easily choose from. The good thing about it, is that it does not come too forward. In fact, surprisingly, people will find it extra elegant and glamorous.

People wish to standout. Somehow, without making an effort, they manage to. Sometimes, you need a little help. That is where you can thank the fashion industry. Trends do not last forever, but style always does. And jewelry does not have to be out style. It just evolves to be more useful as an adornment. It would not hurt to let it do its trick in making you a street style siren.
