Many associations are starting specific programs which could be helping other individuals. The programs could be relevant to the medical field, music, or community rebuilding, among others. For this, an individual should be deciding on the program he wants to be taking part of. He should see to it that the program is related to his expertise. For instance, an individual with a medical profession could be joining a group that is providing medical service. He also needs to be identifying the city he wants to be helping out.

The individuals should also raise some funds for these trips. They can use these funds to pay for their supplies or their transportation expenses. They will have to employ several gimmicks so that they can raise these funds. For instance, they can hold small concerts or organize fun runs. There will certainly be a number of people who will support these activities.

Their travel documents should be prepared months before their destinations will be gone to. They need to ensure the readiness of their passports and visas. They will be allowed entry by these documents to those cities where the activities will be held. They also need to ensure that enough money will be brought so that the things that might be needed by them during their stay in the places can be purchased.

When in Africa, an enthusiast will certainly be feeling hot and pricked by the sun. For this, he needs to be bringing and applying sunblock for him not to be developing skin cancer, especially if he is fair skinned. Africa also hosts lots of dangerous creatures, especially insects. The enthusiast should also be bringing and applying insect repellent for him to be avoiding specific diseases like dengue or malaria, among others.

The individual should also be preparing appropriate clothing for this trip. For girls, they should be avoiding tank tops, short shorts, or mini skirts since they are encouraging harassment. He should be bringing enough clothes which he could be changing into during his stay. He should also be bringing a wide hat for him to be covering his head during daylight.

toiletries should also be brought as convenience stores might be scarce in some areas in Africa. Notebooks, pens, first aid kits, flashlights, guidebooks, mosquito nets, face or even hand wipes, sanitizers, and others should also be brought. If these trips will be conducted on rainy seasons, rain gears should also be brought.

After reaching his destination, he should be showing his good personality. This way, he will not be scaring away the natives. He could also be enjoying the activity while helping others. He should be doing his best in achieving success with the venture.
