How To Increase Prophetic Pastor Opportunities

By Jocelyn Davidson

Different individuals have different takes on what they believe. And most people are separated because of their religion. But even if there is a barrier between most, one thing that they do have in common is that they have a strong faith on a higher being. But no matter how strong your faith is, you still need someone to look up to, someone that can strengthen your faith more and guide you to the right way. These people are called pastors.

There are necessary training and classes that a person needs to attend before having the clearance to preach to an audience. In trainings, the only things that you will learn are facts and strategies, there is really no steps on how to become someone who could capture the attention of many. But when you do become good at making others listen and believe, doors for more prophetic pastor opportunities would surely open.

Prophetic pastors are the ones who preach about the prophecies that are stated in the Bible. They also act as the guiding light for those who are still in doubt of their faith. It is their role to preach the teachings that will hopefully convert and individual and make him or her repent on his or her sins.

Some individuals have established a wall around themselves to not let any kind of spirituality enter. Good preachers know how to break those barriers and make them listen. There are others who use movie clips and presentations. They even sometimes use too much drama to make a point.

Though having clips and dramatic stories to tell is a good idea, sometimes what a person needs to hear is the truth. The truth from the those who have experienced pain and felt that they still have a second chance because they believed.

Being consistent about your teachings is also a good way to serve God better. There might be times that your talks are praised and could inspire others. It may even move several others to tears. But this is not a usual scenario no matter how hard you try. The best thing that you can do is to always be consistent about how you do things.

There might be times when you are going to think that you are not good enough to be a preacher. Times like this always happen especially if you see that others are well listened to by the audiences. But what you are aiming for is not your personal growth. Lectures are suppose to be about God and the good that He brings.

If you feel insecure that you are not as applauded as the others, the reason is probably because you are not doing it for the glory of God. You are doing it for your glory which should not be the case. Learn to accept the facts but always do your best to serve Him.

These are just some of the things that you must remember so that you can be a good pastor. Opportunities in this context does not mean more gigs or chances to become famous. Opportunities here mean that you would have more chances to serve your God in the best way you know how. When you do everything in His name, you will be able to speak from the heart. And when this happens, surely, more and more audiences will listen to the things that you are saying.
