Some Of The Factors Taken Into Account In Arguments Against Evolution

By Marcia Marks

If there is one phenomenon that still has many questions around it, it is that of how the universe came into being. First there is the creation story in the bible, which is believed by most Christians, and also the theories from evolutionists. Some people are therefore torn in between the lines on which story to go with. This is one of the reasons why scientists have been working hard to approve and disapprove these theories. Some of the results have resulted to many arguments against evolution.

Among the arguments against the theories of evolution is that of lack of people who saw it happening. Those supporting this statement say that if it were something real, then the process would still be happening even at the present moment. Therefore, there should be a number of transitional forms which can be observed. However, what is seen is a group of differentiated animals and plants.

Research has been carried out for a long time with experiments being done with the aim of creating new species using the evolutionary methods. For example, the fruit fly has mainly been used in these experiments since it is characterized by a high reproduction rate. However, these tests have been futile because the mutation did not take place as it is expected according to the theories by evolutionists.

Annually, meteoritic dust settles on top of the earth and the moon. This happens in a continuous process and thus if the earth and the moon were as old as they are said to be, then the pile would have been so big. This would have even made the first ship on the moon to sink, of which was not the case. When the ship landed, less than an inch of the dust is what was found. This therefore suggests that the moon is still young and so is the earth.

All heavenly bodies have their own magnetic fields, and so does the earth. That of the earth however keeps on reducing at a constant rate. It therefore means that many years ago its magnetism was very strong, something close to impossible.

According to evolutionists, the magnetic fields of the earth are as a result electric fields found within it. If this was the case thousands of years ago, then the earth would not have been in existence today due to the large amounts of heat that would have been generated. It would have therefore been dissolved in the end.

The theory of punctuated equilibria seems to have its flaws. Even some of the evolutionists disagree by themselves. It was developed in order to try and answer the questions arising with geological records as there were no transitional fossils found. According to the theory, birds would have given birth to mammals, i. E. One species arising from another.

The circumstances under which the theory of punctuated equilibria would have occurred are just too minimal and the probability is even low. This and other evidences make up the arguments against evolution. Most of those arguing against the theories believe in the possibility of creation taking place.
